Officials from the Washington County Health Department can confirm Washington County’s first positive case of COVID-19. On Tuesday April 7th, 2020 at approximately 10:30 am, the Washington County Health Department was notified of the case.

Stay at Home Orders
The county directive will expire on April 24th but the state “STAY HOME MISSOURI” order remains in full effect.

The Washington County Directive on COVID-19 is effective with respect to any aspect that is not inconsistent with the State STAY HOME MISSOURI order. In those instances, the State order will supersede the County directive. The County directive can be more restrictive but cannot be inconsistent with the State order.
